Hedy gloves are manufactured using our demanding quality standards. All production processes are subject to International Standards Organization (ISO) quality assurance procedures. While the industry will be subject to the new ISO 13485 certification by 2006, Hedy has already elected to certify under this standard. Natural rubber latex is compounded with a number of chemicals to achieve a high quality latex film. Moulds designed to produce the most comfortable fit for your hand are then dipped into the latex film and dried. Each glove is then sent through a leaching process to remove excess chemicals and water soluble proteins and then, where applicable, USP cornstarch powder is added for ease of donning. All products are subject to statistical sampling prior to packaging to ensure that they meet all of our very demanding product standards. The gloves are then packed in various packaging formats to meet our customers specialized needs. |
